Italian design Space Age spherical chandelier in Murano glass with white shades for diffused, atmospheric lighting. A lower part in smoked white contains the bulb in a bell-shaped form, on which a clearer glass upper part sits, forming a geoid sphere.
Original piece with minimalist, sculptural forms, characteristic of mid-century modern Italian lighting.

About the Designer
Carlo Nason (1935-2026) was a prominent Italian glass designer and architect from Murano. Born into one of the island’s most respected glassmaking families, he grew up in the furnaces and began designing at a young age. In the 1970s, he established a highly successful collaboration with A.V. Mazzega, creating iconic lighting fixtures that combined traditional Murano techniques with bold, modernist forms. His lamps are celebrated for their sculptural quality, refined use of opaline and colored glass, and timeless elegance. Nason’s work remains highly sought-after by collectors worldwide.
