About the manufacturer

Targetti Sankey is a historic Italian lighting manufacturer based in Florence, founded in 1928 as a small shop selling lamps and electrical items (originally "Sankey Targetti"). From 1937 onward, the company began producing its own fixtures—starting with chandeliers, appliques, and table lamps—and grew into one of Europe's leading names in architectural lighting. Over nearly a century, Targetti has specialized in indoor and outdoor architectural luminaires, emphasizing innovation, precise light control, and integration with architecture. Known for blending refined industrial design with technical excellence, the brand produced iconic mid-century pieces in the 1960s–1970s such as Diskus UFO, much sought today. Since 2017, Targetti Sankey S.r.l. has been operating under the ownership and management of fellow Italian lighting group 3F Filippi.
